Bad Pixel(s)

Posted by Mark Milazzo on Jun 11th 2017

I already own a FLIR Scout PS32 and love it. I wanted to upgrade to the even better resolution of the Scout III. It was an upgrade but not by leaps and bounds. I like the graded fire. Anyway, the third time I turned the Scout on a pixel glowed brightly on its own and has twice grown to an area of 100 or more pixels glowing brightly. I contacted FLIR and shipped unit back for repair or replacement. FLIR was very cooperative so far. Ultimate Night Vision shipped my unit to me promptly. For the average hunters use I think the 320 core units will spot all the animals one would need to. But I think it's only about $500 extra for the 640 cores.
