    Great external battery pack

This one mounts on the picitinny rail on the apex series scopes. It is a clean and flush setup. Very happy with my purchase, quick shipping and great pricing.

Great battery pack for the HD-19A! Just the accessory needed to keep the thermal up and running for days.

    EPS3 Battery Pack

Posted by Howard Tidwell on Jan 17th 2018

I was very skeptical of using the battery pack with my XD38A. I thought that it would be heavy, bulky, put unwanted leverage on the scope, and be generally in the way. It is the opposite of those negative characteristics. It is actually light, compact, tucked in neat, low and close, and out of the way. I know for sure that it will run the thermal scope, turning off the display between lots of scanning, for a five hour hunt with plenty of power left. I plan to do some video with the MDVR. I'm sure the battery pack will be essential for taking video because of the heavier draw of power. I plan to load the scope's onboard battery compartment with good throw away cr123s, and use them strictly as backup to the EPS3. I am recharging it while it is still on the rifle. That is very convenient. If the budget will allow; do yourself a favor and get one. Having used it, I can see now that it is a no-brainer.

This product is light weight, clips on to the scope and will last for the entire hunt. Highly recommend.
