The Trail XP50 is the thermal scope that hunters have been waiting for. For the first time there is a thermal scope available with high resolution, shuttered NUC, on-board recording, picture in picture, one shot zero, rechargeable batteries, and the list goes on. The Trail XP50 has a long list of built-in features that just work. This scope was designed with hunting in mind.
At the heart of the Trail XP series is a 640x480 uncooled microbolometer(thermal sensor) 640x480px, at 17 µm, for highly detailed imaging. The Trail's heat sink, located on the device's body, reduces heat build-up from the core and other components while also significantly reducing temperature and noise sensitivity, especially between calibrations.
