UNV 20-IR Long Range Infrared 1050mw LED Illuminator

The UNV 20IR is a long-range handheld or weapon mountable smart illuminator that provides an intense focusable infrared light with an adjustable power level. The ability to focus and dim the 20IR allows the operator the ability to supply an appropriate amount of light for any situation and reduce IR feedback.

Compatibility
Ther UNV 20-IR is compatible with Generation 2, Generation 3, and Digital night vision devices.

Easy Operation
The 20-IR is simple and easy to opperate. With one click of the tailcap switch the LED is activated. The 20IR has a low, medium and high brightness mode which are toggled through by pressing the tailcap switch half way(not so far that you hear a click). Once you get the 20-IR dialed in like you want, the driver maintains your brightness setting in the driver memory.

NOTE: A slow strobe indicates low battery.

NOTE:
The UNV 20IR has the ability to reach complete focus. When complete focus is achieved, the UNV 20IR will emit patterns including lines and dark spots. Complete focus is not the optimal focus setting for illuminating a target or shooting, but is beneficial to confirm the LED and aspheric lens are emitting the most efficient and highest amount of light.

The 20IR is powered by 1 - 18650 battery which is inserted in the battery compartment positive end first. A slow strobe indicates a low battery. NO NOT USE 2 - CR123A BATTERIES

A Big upgrade

This illuminator was brighter than the one that came with my sight mark wraith, though I did expect it to be brighter . The mount is not very adjustable ,which didnâ€™t matter much because it points right where I wanted to. The battery capability it comes with is probably one of the best things about it, because it is rechargeable .

A little disappointed, its a good IR but I bought it to upgrade my Sightmark photon while it was a slight upgrade in my opinion it wasnt good enough to justify 200$

I bought this light used and while sighting my gun in at the range the lense popped off. I mailed it back to UNV and they replaced it, along with a brand new rechargeable battery and a new picatinny attachment free or charge. I was very appreciative.

This IR light works great. It lights up the field at night making it easier to locate predators. 10/10 would recommend!

Purchased to pair with sightmark photon digital nv set up,
First run out in pigs, was able to view and identify target out past 400 yards.
Multiple brightness levels are benificial for close range situations or nights with moonlight,

I didn't realize what a difference that a quality illuminator can make until I bought this IR-20. At 400 yards I lit up a skunk like a Christmas tree. This is hands down the best illuminator Ive ever seen. I will be buying all of my accessories from UNV from now on.
